Associate Member
Associate Members are professionals from related fields in psychotherapy, counselling, or psychological or sociological disciplines, and/or other interested members of the public.
Associate Members are not approved by IABP to work in Body Psychotherapy or any related field, and are not subject to the IABP Code of Ethics.
Benefits
Associate members of IABP are also registered as Associate members of EABP.
Associate members receive information and discounts for events and activities offered by IABP and EABP.
Associate members can attend and represent their interests at General Meetings of IABP and EABP, and regional activities, although they do not have a vote.
Associate members can work on IABP and EABP committees, although they do not have a vote.

The Accreditation Committee meets 4 to 5 times each year, and aims to respond to applications within 14 days of meetings.
You will be sent an invoice for the annual membership fee when your application is approved, and on receipt of your payment your membership will be confirmed and a certificate sent to you. If you have any queries, please email the Membership Secretary at membership@iabp.ie.
