Student Body Psychotherapist
Student Body Psychotherapists who are members of IABP have the following benefits and obligations.
Benefits
Student membership of IABP includes membership of EABP as a student Body Psychotherapist.
Student members receive information and discounts for events and activities offered by IABP and EABP.
Student members can attend and represent themselves and their interests at General Meetings and regional activities of IABP and EABP, although they do not have a vote.
Student members can describe their status in advertising and referral material, including in online lists and pages, as
‘IABP Body Psychotherapist (Student)’
or
‘EABP Body Psychotherapist (Student)’.
Obligations
Student members commit to working to the IABP Ethical Guidelines.
Student members commit to obtaining relevant professional insurance covering their work with clients.

The Accreditation Committee meets 4 to 5 times each year, and aims to respond to applications within 14 days of meetings.
You will be sent an invoice for the annual membership fee when your application is approved, and on receipt of your payment your membership will be confirmed and a certificate sent to you. If you have any queries, please email the Membership Secretary at membership@iabp.ie.
